Only place I will go to get my jerk chicken in Hamilton, love the sauce as well as the rice and pea and mac salad. The owner is the sweetest lady too. Very fair pricing too, thank you for your wonderful service!
Really good Jamaican food. It’s hard to find rice and peas with the right consistency. The Jerk Chicken has the perfect amount of spice and it’s some of the best oxtail gravy I’ve had in Canada. The Mac salad is creamy and delicious. I knew from the small shop that it was going to be good. I will go back and try more. She knows what she is doing
I don’t usually write many Google reviews.. but this was such a hit.. it’s a small place and it’s seems like it’s a family run business. Food is hands down the best I’ve had.. it’s so good and you can tell it’s all homemade.. definitely worth a try!!!!

Went in and got the curry goat meal for 14, and FINALLY, real flavour and real spice! Meaty chunks of goat and addicting pepper sauce made this the best goat curry I’ve had in Hamilton.
Ja-Nice has authentic Jamaican food such as curried goat, Oxtails, curried chicken and Jamaican patties. She has Take out only. The place is small with standing room only. She accepts cash only and no debit or Master Cards. I recommend the food. It’s delicious.
Ja Nice is an underrated lunch spot. Everything I’ve tried on the menu is delicious. Recommend the stew chicken or the curry chicken. The patties are delicious, fresh, flaky and generously stuffed. Bring cash. They don’t accept plastic.
